Introduction

I have lived and traveled throughout various locations in Europe, and would love to meet new people and share stories about the adventures of being abroad. I hope to have the opportunity to participate in one of your next events! :)

Where in Europe did you travel to? Any particular distinct memory?

I've lived and traveled in Europe at different points in my life. I lived in England (York and London), Verona, Italy, and Paris. I've traveled to Ireland, Scotland, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Ukraine and Iceland.

What is your connection to Europe?

My origins are Irish and German, and I adore Italian, Irish, English and Slavic cultures in particular.

Please tell us a little bit about yourself.

I teach ESOL to adults for a not-for-profit here in NYC. I am truly passionate about teaching English as well as learning foreign languages. Photography was my major in college, and is an integral part of my life. I'm always open to new experiences.

Do you speak a language other than English?

I speak Spanish and Italian, and little bits of French and Russian. I love learning new languages because it helps me communicate better with people from all over, and understand something more than just the English way of speaking and thinking.
